Our Facilities
This is not your typical church-basement preschool. The pictures below may give you a small idea of why we love the sunny, roomy facilities of PNS. Virtual reality images can also help you experience the three areas of the classroom: Pretend Play, Snack and Project Tables, and Circle Time and Gross Motor Play. Our cheerful and safe facility includes three spacious, interconnected rooms with large windows that create a bright, open atmosphere. Our classroom environment offers time and space where young children are free to play, explore and imagine through center-based activities. |

Materials and toys are inviting and easily accessible to the children. Children in our programs participate in active learning experiences in individual, small group and whole group settings.
|
| A separate "big room" provides kids with a spacious area ideal for large motor play, and is stocked with a variety of pedal toys, climbing equipment and balls. |
 |
 | All classes have access to a kitchen for cooking projects. A fenced outdoor playground area featuring slides, climbing equipment and a sand-box is used regularly in fall and spring. |
At Perinton Nursery School, nothing is more important to us than the safety of the children in our preschool programs.
The main entry to the school and the classroom doors remain locked from the inside at all times
when class is in session. The classroom doors are equipped with chimes that serve to alert an adult any time the
doors are opened. Children are not allowed outside the classroom unattended by an adult.
Our teachers are trained and certified annually in first aid and CPR.
